The first steps

At the beginning you should hire profit-generating personnel. We recommend hiring street hustlers. The protection teams are also quite profitable.

Once you've gotten the hang of, you can begin to expand the different building types of buildings in your district. you can see all the different types of buildings and their expansion levels. Each expansion of a building requires a certain amount of time before it is completed and must be built level by level. Take a look at the overview to find out the number, costs, income, one-time purchase fee, etc. for each of the types of buildings.

One special tip for brothels: If you want to build a brothel, you're going to need at least one pimp for each brothel and, of course, a few "ladies of the evening" to generate your income.

Also, you should set up your headquarters. . is important to have a headquarters in order to defend yourself from attacks. With all these items now in place, your district should be earning enough money for you to turn your attention to another type of business: smuggling.

But in order to be able to smuggle goods, you're going to need to create some storage space. That's why you should build your warehouse . As a newcomer in this business, you won't be able to store items in the warehouse for long, as it's more important for you to turn these goods into money for yourself right away.

Later you can expand your warehouse and pay attention to the purchase and sales prices to make more money. While your warehouse is being expanded, it's a good idea for you to send out a smuggling convoy . Remember however that the convoy can only unload its goods into your warehouse, if you have enough room available there.

For your first smuggling job, we recommend using the Class B truck which can be bought You'll also find important information about all the different types of vehicles in the fleet menu. You'll also have to get a driver to drive this vehicle.

Now that everything is good to go: start your convoy by switching to the smuggling menu. Select the items you want to smuggle and take a look at their purchase prices. The prices vary according to the distance to the final destination of the smuggling convoy. The most lucrative business is to deal with booze.

Select the number of vehicles for your convoy using the drop-down menu. Under "Calculate", you can find out how much it will cost you for the convoy. Once you select "Confirm", the trucks can roll out. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see how long your convoy will need to return to your district.

As soon as you have enough finances saved up, you can expand your smuggling fleet and warehouses. Planes and trains require an airport and a train station.

For planes and trains, you'll also need personnel. Planes need pilots and trains need drivers and stokers. Since your trains are powered by steam, you're also going to need to get some material to burn to get them going.

Now that you know where and how to make money in your district, why not use your income to build up some extra finances before you make your first attack against your enemies. Only after you're really well-equipped can you start thinking about making an attack. Attacks often lead to enemy retaliation, which means you should build up your defenses first to defend yourself afterwards.
